We started in a basement, then moved to a
front porch, along with communion at a local grade school. Then in
January of 2002, Carroll Middle School became the temporary home of
Pathway Community Church. PCC started growing at a rapid rate, and by
the end of the summer, over 550 folks were packing into the small
cafeteria. Soon, the cafeteria wouldn't hold us all, and we began to
fill the school's gymnasium. After just five years, Pathway had grown to
nearly 1,800 attendees.
On June 3, 2007, Pathway opened the doors to our brand new facility just off Carroll Road. In less than a year in the new facility, PCC was seeing as many as 2,500 people on a Sunday morning. Now in our 11th year of meeting publicly, Pathway remains a church committed to touching thousands of lives each week, inside and outside of the walls of our facility - in our community and beyond. We are convinced God has positioned us in this part of Fort Wayne at this time in history. Our commitment to God’s mission is clear - to lead people into a full life found in Jesus Christ.
