How long are your worship services?

Services are approximately 70-minutes long, but can vary between 60-75 minutes. Click here for our weekend service times

How often do you celebrate Holy Communion?

We celebrate communion once every two months. We typically observe communion on the first full weekend of the month. However, we may decide to move it to another weekend for a variety of reasons.

As followers of Jesus, we take communion together as a community. While we do not feel a thimble of grape juice and a cracker are the best representation of Biblical communion, we do believe that in a large worship environment, we are able to reflect on 1 Corinthians 11:25-29. In doing so we give thanks in remembrance of Jesus who took the sin of the world upon Himself and died on a cross so that those who accept His free gift of grace would not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16). We feel communion is more accurately displayed as part of a meal in a community of Christ-followers who are doing life together. For more on our life groups click here.

What is the preaching and worship style?

Our teaching is Bible-based, Christ-centric, and applied to our day-to-day lives. The worship style is diverse utilizing modern songs as well as traditional hymns. (for more information on our beliefs, please go here.)

We recognize that Pathway may not be the church for everyone. Biblical community is very important to us and if Pathway is not a good fit for you or your family, we want to help you find a church home. There are several fantastic, Christ-centered churches in Northeastern Indiana and we’d be happy to point you in a direction that might be a better fit for you. Please contact us so that we can help!

How many people attend Pathway?

Our pre-COVID average was about 3,000 in attendance each weekend. In a church this big it can be difficult to meet people during weekend services. If you want to take another step toward deeper connection, we recommend getting involved in a serving team and in a life group.

What is the Venue?

The Venue provides a more intimate worship environment where we can connect with God and others through live worship and teaching that’s streamed in from the worship center. It’s not an overflow; it’s a community of people who are connected to one another. There’s always a place for you in the Venue.

Are online worship services available?

Yes! Our worship services stream at 5pm Saturdays, 9am and 11am Sundays at PCCFW.tv. Services re-air every three hours starting at 3pm on Sunday until 12pm the following Saturday. We’d love to have you with us anytime as part of our online community.

Do I need to dress up?

Pathway worship services are a casual dress environment. From shorts and flip-flops to slacks and dress-shirts, we have quite a variety of styles here.

What is the pastor like?

Our Senior Pastor Ron Williams and his late wife Laura founded Pathway Community Church. Ron remains deeply committed to this church family and the vision he and his wife pursued together for over fifteen years. He has a heart to see all people encounter Jesus and grow deeper in relationship with Him. Ron’s teaching style can be described as practical, relatable, and easy-to-understand.

What should I know to have a good parking lot experience?

We have two entrances to our parking lots, both off of Carroll Road. The Shearwater entrance will allow easiest access to lots A and B (on the south side of our building near Carroll Road). The second entrance on Carroll—to the east of Shearwater—will take you to lots C, D, and E (on the north side of our building, near the athletic fields, playground, and maintenance barn). There is guest parking on either side of our building, and we encourage you to take advantage of this convenience!
